CELEBRATE UNDER THE STARS
We are excited to once again partner with J&M Louisiana Fireworks for this year's Independence Day celebration. After helping deliver a memorable show for our community last year, their team is returning to light up the Odessa sky with another spectacular fireworks display. While this year's event will focus solely on fireworks, attendees can still expect an exciting and patriotic show to cap off an evening of family fun and celebration.
Streets Closed Early
​Several streets surrounding the event area will close earlier in the day to allow for event setup and public safety operations. Please plan your route accordingly and watch for posted detour signs.
Arrive Early
Arrive early to allow time for parking, finding a viewing spot, and enjoying the festivities before the fireworks begin.
No Designated Parking
There is no designated event parking. Parking is available on surrounding streets and in nearby public parking areas where legally permitted. Please follow all posted parking restrictions and directions from law enforcement.
Best Viewing
For the best viewing experience, choose an open area with a clear view of the sky.
Bring Lawn Chairs
Bring lawn chairs or blankets to stay comfortable throughout the evening.
Expect Increased Traffic
Expect increased traffic before and after the fireworks show. Please be patient and allow extra time when entering and exiting the event area.
Event Safety & Courtesy
Help keep the event safe and enjoyable by supervising children, respecting event staff, and disposing of trash properly.
Stay Hydrated
Stay hydrated and dress appropriately for the weather, especially if you plan to arrive early and spend the evening outdoors.
Mindful of Pets
If your pet will be outdoors during the show, make sure they are in a secure area with proper identification and access to water.

Can’t make it in person? No problem. The City of Odessa plans to livestream the fireworks show on Facebook so you can enjoy the celebration from the comfort of your home.
