4th of July Parade
Hundreds of people lined the streets of downtown Odessa Friday morning for the annual Fourth of July Parade.
Hosted by the Odessa Lions Club, this year's parade featured the most floats in the past five years. Local businesses, community organizations, first responders, marching groups, and families all came together to celebrate the Fourth of July and America's 250th birthday.
From start to finish, the streets were filled with red, white, and blue as parade participants made their way through downtown. Families waved flags, cheered on the floats, and celebrated one of Odessa's favorite holiday traditions.
The City of Odessa would like to thank the Odessa Lions Club, everyone who participated in the parade, the volunteers, public safety personnel, and everyone who helped make this year's event possible. It was a great way to kick off the Fourth of July celebration in Odessa.

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday
Kick off your Independence Day by joining the 250th Independence Day Parade, presented by the Odessa Downtown Lions Club. Bring your family, decorate your vehicle, bike, or float, and celebrate alongside the Odessa community as we honor our nation's 250th birthday.
Whether you're participating or cheering from the sidelines, the parade is a great way to start your Fourth of July before heading to Firecracker Fandango later that evening.

Parade Route
The parade begins at 17th Street and Texas Avenue and travels south to 9th Street.
Come early to register and line up before the parade begins.
How to Participate
Participation is free and open to the community. Decorate your float in patriotic colors and celebrate America's 250th birthday with friends, family, local organizations, businesses, clubs, and community groups.
Registration will take place on-site beginning at 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the parade.
After the Parade
Keep the celebration going at Firecracker Fandango beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Odessa. Enjoy live music, food vendors, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks show at 10:00 p.m.
